Trustees

Bruce Findlay- Chairman

Bruce is a Dairy farmer from Tikorangi. He is a director of On Site Education and holds a Bachelor of Agriculture Degree from Massey University.

Matt Connor - Deputy Chair

Matthew is a Commercial Pilot and ex Airline Pilot. He is the Director of a Small precision Engineering Business. Matthew has been actively involved with Aviation for over 40 years including Aircraft Maintenance. He is committed to providing an accessible Air Ambulance Service to the people of Taranaki.

David Drummond

David has been involved in many areas of aviation from flying small aircraft to exporting chickens on International Airlines and enjoy flying as a private pilot. I am probably better known as the chicken man as I have been in the Poultry Industry for 40+ years. I am focused on making sure that we maintain an Air Ambulance service based in Taranaki, for our Taranaki people. My wife and I live in New Plymouth, along with our two daughters, their husbands and 3 grandchildren.
 

Greg Whitham

Greg is a Director and Chief Financial Officer of Transport Investments Limited (including Hookers Transport) and his experience in this industry is an invaluable addition to the Trust. 

Cathy Thurston 

Cathy has worked in the health sector for approximately 10 years as well as local government where one of her responsibilities was for fundraising. She has recently started a boutique travel business and provides HR consulting to businesses

Owen Williams

Owen has been involved with aviation since learning to fly in 1967. He has always had an interest in helping others. He was a member of the New Plymouth Aero Club since 1974 and was on the executive, including beign President, for three years. Owen was a founding trustee and secretary of the Air Ambulance Trust since it was formed in 2006. He has an extensive background in construction engineering in New Zealand and overseas.

Christina Houghton 

Christina is a New Zealand registered pharmacist, practising in a community pharmacy in New Plymouth. She is also involved in running a local family owned garden centre. She is a member of Soroptimist international, a group working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women.
